President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mana, a respected statesman who served as military governor of Plateau State before transitioning into national politics.
Mana later represented Adamawa North Senatorial District from 2007 to 2011 under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was widely regarded as a patriot and gentleman who served his country with dedication both in and out of military uniform.
In a condolence message, President Tinubu praised Mana’s unwavering commitment to the common good and his tireless efforts toward building a better society. He said Mana’s leadership and wise counsel would be sorely missed in political and social circles.
The President extended his sympathies to the people and government of Adamawa State, as well as members of the APC family in the region. He also acknowledged Mana’s significant contributions as chairman of the APC Reconciliation Committee until his death, a role through which he strengthened party unity and political stability.
President Tinubu prayed for the peaceful repose of Mana’s soul and for strength to the bereaved family and community.
