The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has felicitated the governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, over Wednesday’s Supreme Court verdict upholding his victory in the Ondo State governorship election.

The former governor of Lagos State in a statement on Wednesday by his media office, said, “The Supreme Court verdict is an affirmation of the overwhelming victory Governor Akeredolu recorded on October 10, 2020.”

Tinubu advised Akeredolu to deliver on good governance and called for support for him.

He said, “Governor Akeredolu can now settle down… and continue to deliver good governance, developmental projects and programmes to the people of the state.

“The opposition Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, have fully exercised their franchise. It is now time to join hands with Governor Akeredolu to take the state to greater heights.”
