TikTok influencer Tunmise has responded to allegations made by his former girlfriend, Ivana, denying claims of infidelity, verbal abuse and domestic violence while accusing her of cheating during their relationship.

In a video shared online, Tunmise claimed Ivana travelled to Calabar to reunite with her former boyfriend after he had spent significant amounts of money trying to save their relationship.

According to him, the relationship appeared happy on social media, but the couple had been dealing with serious challenges behind the scenes. He alleged that he financially supported Ivana and several members of her family throughout their time together.

Tunmise further claimed that after they agreed to work on their relationship, he paid ₦150,000 per day for a hotel where they stayed for about three weeks and also covered shopping and other expenses.

He alleged that Ivana later told him she was travelling to Calabar for an event, only for him to discover she had allegedly gone to see her ex-boyfriend. According to him, he learned of the meeting through messages, photos and videos reportedly sent by the ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend.

Despite the incident, Tunmise said he chose to forgive Ivana because her birthday was only a few weeks away.

Addressing accusations that he verbally abused her, Tunmise admitted calling Ivana offensive names during arguments but claimed it happened out of frustration over what he described as recurring health issues they were both treating.

He also denied physically abusing Ivana, alleging instead that she assaulted him on several occasions. To support his claims, he displayed screenshots which he said showed Ivana apologising, admitting to having a bad temper and asking for reconciliation.

Tunmise’s response comes after Ivana admitted to cheating during the relationship but claimed her actions followed repeated infidelity, verbal abuse and physical assault by him. She also accused him of damaging her career opportunities.

The allegations and counter-allegations made by both parties have not been independently verified.
