Tanker crushes 15 Army day secondary school pupils to death in Delta

Fifteen pupils of the Army Day Secondary School, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State were crushed to death by a petrol tanker today July 8.

According to reports, the driver of the tanker laden with petroleum product was on top speed when he suddenly lost control and due to brake failure, ran over some of the pupils who were walking home after school.

While many of the students died on the spot of the incident, others who sustained serious injuries were rushed to the Army Hospital, Effurun Barracks for medical attention.
