Super Falcons Lock Horns With Cape Verde in April Friendly Ahead of WAFCON Qualifiers

 

 

 

African champions Super Falcons of Nigeria will face Cape Verde in an international friendly in April, .

 

The encounter will serve as part of both teams’ preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

 

Officials have yet to announce the date and venue of the game.

 

 

The fixture is expected to be played during the April international window.

 

The Super Falcons were last in action against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in February and March.

 

 

Nigeria will face Egypt, Malawi, and Zambia in Group C at the WAFCON 2026 finals.

 

Cape Verde, which will be making their maiden appearance at the biennial competition are drawn in Group D with Cameroon, Ghana, and Mali.
