Shehu Sani Lists Four Things That Unify Nigerians Despite Political Divides

Former Senator and prominent social commentator, Shehu Sani, has highlighted four key events that he believes bring Nigerians together, regardless of the country’s often divisive political landscape.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday, the ex-lawmaker noted that despite regional and political differences, certain moments trigger nationwide unity.

According to him, “Four things unite Nigerians: the Super Eagles, when they’re winning; South Africans, when they launch xenophobic attacks on Nigerians; Nigerian artists,  when they win Grammys; and Kemi Badenoch, when she criticizes Nigeria.”

Sani’s post humorously points out how national pride, shared external challenges, and cultural achievements temporarily overshadow internal divisions.
