The Deputy Minority Leader and member representing Aninri, Awgu and Oji River federal constituency have commiserated with Chief Hon. Barr. Ochendo Ekene Okenwa, the former local government chairman of Nkanu West over the death of his mother, late Chief Mrs Roseline Okenwa (Nwekeogu) Nee Nnaji.
Roseline Okenwa died on the 12th of October 2021 at the age of 77 after 20 years of protracted illness.
Okechukwu who was unable to attend the burial ceremony due to unavoidable circumstances, condoled the former chairman in his tribute message saying the death of his mother was a loss to them all as she will be terribly missed.
Stating how deeply sorry he was to receive the news of her passing; Okechukwu said “Nee Nnaji was a good woman and a worthy example for emulation among other women. She was indeed a great woman and mother.
“I take solace in the fact that her suffering have ended and she is finally resting. She was a strong woman and fought a good fight for her family.
Okechukwu concluded his message to the family saying “While we mourn this great woman, we take solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life and left enduring legacies for us to emulate. We are supremely confident that he now rests in the bosom of the Lord. On behalf of my family and Constituents, please accept my condolences”.
