The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has alerted passengers and commuters to heavy traffic congestion on access roads to Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, due to an ongoing protest by members of the Farmcraft Centre for the Blind.
In a statement on Monday, the agency advised travellers to consider alternative routes and stay updated on traffic conditions to avoid delays.
“This is a travel advisory for passengers and commuters to/from Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos. Due to an ongoing protest by the Farmcraft Centre for the Blind, traffic congestion is currently impacting access roads to the airport,” the statement read in part.
FAAN urged travellers to:
Check traffic updates before leaving for the airport.
