Popular social media couple, the scotts, split as wife files for divorce over alleged infidelity

Another social media love story has reportedly hit the rocks.

According to TMZ, popular content creators known as The Scotts are officially heading for divorce, after the wife, Kristy Scott, filed to end her marriage to Desmond Scott.

According to court documents filed in Harris County, Texas, Kristy cited alleged infidelity as the reason for the split, stating that it completely destroyed any chance of reconciliation between them.

The documents also indicate that the couple has stopped, or will soon stop, living together as husband and wife.

The breakup has come as a shock to many fans, especially because the couple built their online brand around family life, home design and renovation projects, and playful prank videos.

Interestingly, Kristy last featured Desmond on her TikTok page in early December, a detail some followers now say makes sense in hindsight.

The former lovebirds reportedly met at age 14, got married in 2014, and share two sons together.

Beyond social media, the pair also co-own Meant To Be Films, a production company focused on wedding videography and storytelling. What becomes of the business following the split remains unclear.

Neither Kristy nor Desmond has publicly addressed the divorce as of now.
