Police Rescue Four Kidnap Victims In Ekiti

Four residents of Ekiti State including a lawyer, who were kidnapped a few days ago at Ijesa Isu, under Ikole Local Government Area of the State, have regained their freedom.

UGAMATV reports that the victims were abducted on their way to Ado Ekiti from Omuo Oke.

Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Police Command, ASP Sunday Abutu, said the victims were released through a combined effort of the police, the family and other security agents.

He said, “They have all been released today at about 18:00hrs through the combined efforts of the police, the military, Amotekun, local hunters, as well as the family members.

“Effort is still ongoing for the possible arrest of the culprits.”
