Police launch manhunt for killers of Enugu cops

The Enugu State Police Command on Wednesday said it had launched a manhunt for the gunmen who attacked and killed two policemen attached to the command.

The two victims were said to be on duty with three other colleagues at a checkpoint at Nachi in the Oji River Local Government Area of the state when the assailants attacked the checkpoint and killed them.

Their colleagues, however, escaped unhurt.

UGAMATV gathered that the hoodlums collected the two AK-47 rifles belonging to the deceased cops and set ablaze their patrol vehicle.
