Pictorial: Grave site prepared for burial of Ibrahim Attahiru, 10 military personnel

The burial site where the 11 military officers who died in the Beachcraft 350 aircraft that crashed at the Kaduna International Airport on Friday has been prepared.

UGAMATV  reported that the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru, and 10 other officers were on board the aircraft.

Their death was confirmed by the military on Friday with an announcement of their burial arrangements scheduled for today.

Service is currently holding at the National Mosque in Abuja for Attahiru and the officers of Islamic faith among the victims of the crash.

A similar service is holding at the Nigerian Air Force Protestant Church in Abuja for the Christians among the victims.

Meanwhile, their remains have arrived in Abuja.
