PDP Chieftain: Tinubu Knows APC Can’t Hit 20% in Fair 2027 Poll

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Gbenga Olawepo Hashim, has stated that President Bola Tinubu is aware that the All Progressives Congress, APC, cannot secure 20 percent if the 2027 elections are to be free and fair.

Olawepo Hashim said this during a live interview on ‘Sunday Politics’, a programme on Channels Television monitored by DAILY POST.

He was speaking on the forthcoming 2027 general elections, stressing that the APC has more issues than the PDP.

“If the opposition is dead and buried as they claimed, why then are they afraid of the next year’s general elections?

“All the internet or data boys praise President Tinubu as a strategist. He has conducted the polls, and he knows that in a free and fair election today, the APC cannot secure 20 percent of the vote.

“Even in the same APC, they know who is ready to bite them in the back. And I can tell you that they have more issues than the PDP,” he said.
