Panic as corpse found in uncompleted building in Niger community

The corpse of a man identified as Musa Ahmadu found in an uncompleted building in Madalla Area of Niger State has placed residents in panic mood.

Musa, it was gathered, had told his colleagues he was going to pee but did not return.

A resident who gave his name as Shehu Lawal said his body was later found in a fenced uncompleted building in the area after one of the residents noticed blood stain on the floor which he traced into the building.

He said, “We believe he was attacked because there was blood stain everywhere. People who knew him gave his name as Musa but I use to see him sell suya in our area. They said he had told his colleagues that he wanted to urinate and they searched everywhere for him all throughout that day but didn’t find him.

“Someone saw blood stain and traced it into the fenced uncompleted building where his body was found. Every one is scared as we speak.”

He said the police had come to evacuate the corpse.

When contacted, the spokesperson for the state police command, Abiodun Wasiu confirmed the incident in a telephone interview with our correspondent.

He added that investigation has commenced to unravel and arrest the perpetrators of such unfortunate incident.
