Oyo PDP emergency: Saraki gives update after reconciliatory meeting

The Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Reconciliation Committee, Dr Bukola Saraki, says the wronged individuals from the gathering in Oyo State have consented to set to the side their disparities and work toward the triumph of the gathering in future elections.

Saraki unveiled this to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan, after the compromise meeting with bothered individuals from PDP.

The previous Senate President said that every one of those present set out to work intently together under the initiative of Governor Seyi Makinde.

UGAMATV reports that Saraki had led a few individuals from the board, including Liyel Imoke, previous Governor of Cross Rivers, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim, previous Senate President, among others, for a compromise meeting with the factional heads of PDP in the state.

The meeting was held at the Government House, Agodi in Ibadan.

Saraki said, “And, they’ve all said whenever that is finished by the lead representative, they are prepared to work with him.

“So, it’s simply to begin executing that and roll it down the line.”

Saraki praised everybody that went to the gathering, saying they have concurred that “today is the start of another part in Oyo State.”

He likewise said thanks to lead representative Makinde for his commitment.

“I’m a recipient of what the gathering is doing and I trust that when I finish my own term as well, individuals in PDP will keep on profiting with that.

“So, everybody is focused on guaranteeing that PDP proceeds to work and endeavor emphatically here in Oyo State,” he said.
