The founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has called on global leaders, pastors, entrepreneurs, and Nigerian youths to realise their full potential by embracing service, humility, and dedication.
He made this appeal at The Shift Conference Lagos, a one-day programme organised by Eden Kingdom Ministry, held at the National Theatre, which attracted participants from Nigeria and countries including Kenya, Ghana, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Rwanda.
Speaking on leadership and purpose, Oyedepo stressed that true leadership is rooted in service and commitment, not titles or positions. He noted that those who serve diligently are the ones who ultimately attain greatness.
Referencing biblical teachings, he encouraged participants to remain committed to their responsibilities, emphasising that consistent service is key to making a lasting impact.
Reflecting on his personal journey, the cleric revealed he has spent over 50 years in faith, adding that God rewards dedication and faithful service.
He also urged believers to be intentional about their choices and remain focused on growth, describing the conference theme as a call to higher purpose and transformation.
Oyedepo further described believers as a “royal generation” with the capacity to make meaningful impact, advising them to prioritise service above material pursuits.
Convener of the event, Akin Akinpelu, stated that the gathering was designed to inspire spiritual renewal and provide direction for emerging leaders.
