SECURITY Operatives kill three hoodlums in Imo military battle

SECURITY forces on Monday killed three hoodlums in a gun duel in Umuowa in the Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State.

The operation, our correspondent learnt, was part of the commitment to end the activities of hoodlums in the state.

The operation was carried out by the men of 34 Artillery Brigade in Obinze, 211 Quick Response Group and the Navy in Owerri Nta.

The Commander, 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze, Brigadier General Raymond Utsaha, said three of the hoodlums were neutralised, while the SUV and one other vehicle they stole were recovered.

At the scene of the incident, the military and service chiefs in the state asked residents of the community to assist security agencies in the fight against crime.
