Ondo state governor Akeredolu tests positive for Covid-19


Akeredolu via his verified Twitter handle, said he got conformation of a positive result for COVID- 19 on Tuesday morning.

The Governor tweeted: “Today, I tested positive for #COVID19. All is well. I’m asymptomatic and have been self -isolating.
“Work continues. Your continued prayers over my wellbeing are most appreciated.”

Akeredolu joins a list of top public officers who have tested positive for the disease. They include Abba Kyari, the chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari; Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna; Bala Mohammed, governor of Bauchi, and Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo.
