ONDO POLL: UNITY FORUM DECLARES SUPPORT FOR AKEREDOLU

As the reconciliation continues in the camp of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State,  members of the Unity Forum of the All Progressives Congress has declared to support the candidate of the party, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

The group led by a former deputy governor of the state, Alhaji Ali Olanusi, made the declaration in a stakeholder meeting held in Akure the state capital on Sunday evening.

The forum comprises of some aggrieved members of the party who were initially hell-bent on ensuring that the governor would not be the candidate of the party in the October 10 governorship election but their consensus candidate, Chief Olusola Oke, lost the primary to Governor Akeredolu.

He ( Oke ) has also declared his support for the governor when the governor paid him a visit after the primary.

The leader of the group, Alhaji Olanusi who was present at the meeting said he and members of the group would be ready to campaign for Akeredolu when the campaign started.
