The OYC President General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike  who received this information with gladdened heart said that the decision of the Federal lawmakers was heartwarming and that only a political solution is the way out of the problem.

“Nnamdi Kanu is a political prisoner and only a political solution will set him free. So, we the Igbo youths thank the lawmakers for rising up to the occasion. They have further endeared themselves to the masses by this singular act”, Okwu said.

While thanking IPOB for cancelling the Monday Sit at home protest, the OYC said it should further make sure that hoodlums don’t mess up it’s movement.

“We say this, especially with the ugly incidents of Monday where WAEC examination was disrupted in Imo state and a bus supplying bread was also attacked in Enugu on Tuesday. These actions are alien to Igbo land and that’s why we believe seriously that fifth columnist are at work and must be fished out”. “Ndigbo must unite together now and fight our common enemy and not kill ourselves, we should not make south east a laughing stock before the nations of the world”, Okwu concluded.
