OHANAEZE NDIGBO CELEBRATES ANYAOKU AS HE TURNS 89

The apex socio-cultural igbo group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has joined the world to celebrate Chief Emeka Anyaoku as he clocks 89.

They made this known in a press release which was made available to the media through Chiedozie Alex Ogbonnia, the group’s National Publicity Secretary, stating that “Anyaoku has scored many firsts and continues to shine forth as a Star, not to the Igbo nation alone, nor Nigeria, but to the entire Africa, the Commonwealth nations and the world.

“Anyaoku, one of Igbo’s greatest exports to the global diplomatic community is a quintessence of the Igbo resourcefulness, resilience, wisdom, honesty and integrity.

“Through a dint of hard work, dedication to duty rather than any form of favouritism and discipline rather than quota considerations, Chief Anyaoku has set enviable records in his chosen career and remains a model for excellence and patriotism to this, and the upcoming generations.

“His records remain untainted and referenced for his dutiful service to the world and his unrelenting selfless services to Nigeria without forgetting his roots.

“We recall with pride his numerous interventions for the birth of democratic governance and it’s sustenance across Nigeria, especially, in Ala Igbo. Anyaoku remains a strong voice that rings out in the darkest hours to usher in the light of truth.

“May I convey the kindest felicitations and the sincere prayers for good health and fulfillment from the President-General, Ambassador Professor George Obiozor, the NEC and all the organs of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, to this great Iroko as he clocks 89 inspiring years on this journey”, Ogbonnia concluded.
