Ogbunike king, Igwe Umenyiora, passes on

OGBUNIKE community in the Oyi council area of Anambra State and the Umenyiora family have officially announced the passage of the King of Ogbunike, Igwe John Ositadimma Umenyiora, (Ezedioramma 1 of Ogbunike and Okpala Iguedo).

The late king’s passage was announced by Chief Anene C. Osadebe, the traditional prime minister and regent of Ogbunike. Addressing the gathering, Chief Osadebe informed that the late Igwe, who recently gave palliatives to all widows in Ogbunike to cushion the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown, passed on on April 28 at exactly 12pm in Enugu after a brief illness.
