Nigerians Get 50% Off Train Tickets for Sallah Festivities

 

 

 

President Bola Tinubu has approved a 50% discount on all passenger train services operated by the Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC.

 

 

This is to cushion transportation costs for Nigerians during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

 

The president announced that the discount will be effective from Tuesday, May 26, 2026, to Monday, June 1, 2026.

 

 

Passengers travelling on NRC routes across the country under ththisrrangement, ill pay half of the existing approved fares within thx days.
