Oborevwori Applauds Obi Cubana’s Mega Investment as Cubana Millennium City Signals New Urban Era for Asaba

The Governor of Sheriff Oborevwori has praised prominent businessman Obinna Tochukwu Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, for spearheading investments aimed at boosting Delta State’s status as a key urban centre in the South-South and South-East regions.

The commendation was made on Sunday evening in Asaba during the entrepreneur’s 51st birthday celebration, which drew top dignitaries, business leaders, and well-wishers.

Oborevwori described the Cubana Millennium City project as a game-changing initiative that marks a new chapter in the urban development of the state capital. He noted that such large-scale investments have the potential to reshape Asaba’s economic landscape and attract both local and international investors.

According to the governor, Obi Cubana’s sustained commitment to development in the state stands as a significant milestone that will not only transform Asaba’s physical outlook but also stimulate growth in neighbouring communities.

He further highlighted that the project represents a forward-thinking model of city development, combining modern architecture, smart infrastructure, and diverse economic opportunities. The governor added that the unveiling of the Signature Home within the Cubana Millennium City underscores the project’s significance beyond residential development.

In his remarks, Obi Cubana said the vision behind the project is to create a world-class environment that meets global standards. He emphasized that the development goes beyond housing, aiming to build a thriving ecosystem where people can live, work, and invest seamlessly.

He also pointed out that the project’s proximity to key transport links, including the Asaba International Airport, makes it an attractive investment destination with strong prospects for long-term value growth.

The Cubana Millennium City is designed as a fully integrated urban hub, featuring residential areas, commercial outlets, and lifestyle facilities. The initiative is expected to function as a “city within a city,” offering comfort, accessibility, and sustainable economic benefits while contributing significantly to Delta State’s overall development.
