Nursing student allegedly arrested after she was suspended for exposing poor state of Uwani health centre in Enugu

Joy Ezeugwu, a nursing student earlier suspended for exposing the poor state of Uwani Health Centre in Enugu, has allegedly been arrested.

This claim was made by Alex Onyia, the CEO at Educare.

He claimed that she was arrested today, May 4, by officers from the Police Force Headquarters Annex, Enugu, reportedly linked to directives from her former school.

He wrote: “Joy Ezeugwu has been arrested this morning by a team from Police Force Headquarters Annex, Enugu.

“They were sent by her formal school’s (Ezzy College of Nursing) administrator Ifeyinwa Peace Okwudu.

“Students and staff oppression have now become a norm.

“We will dismantle it.”
