nrbp nominates enugu former commissioner, Hon. Anioke As Honorary Trustee

Hon. Uchenna Cyril Anioke Ph.D, the president of the Nigerian Publishers Association (NPA), a journalist and a media expert per excellence has been nominated as an honorary trustee of the Network of Book Clubs and Reading Promoters In Nigeria (NRBP) in a letter dated 21st of March 2022.

In the letter, the Organization has shown interest in the need to draw from Anioke’s wealth of knowledge and experience in the book industry.
It reads,
“ I write to communicate to you sir, the decision of the Network of Book Clubs and Reading Culture Promoters in Nigeria, NBRP to nominate you as one of the honorary Trustees of the organization.
The Network with membership cutting across Nigeria will be honoured to tap into your wealth of experience in carrying out and fulfilling our mandate. In this, we will be calling on you from time to time as may be required even as we similarly encourage you sir to do likewise.
We thank you in anticipation of your favourable response.”

Anioke who also accepted the offer and pledged to work with the organization to achieve their common objective stated that “I wish to thank the president and the entire members of the Organization for finding me worthy of this honorary position. I pledge to be available to work with the body so as to achieve our goals.”
