NpFL TO CoMMENcE behind closed doors by may 9

The League Management Company says all COVID-19 protocols, including playing behind closed doors, will be observed when the second stanza of the league resumes May 9.

The league was scheduled to resume April 28, before it was postponed by 11 days by the LMC.

Following the conclusion of the first round of matches on April 5, and subsequent mid-season break, be informed that the second round matches will commence with match-day 20 on May 9 in all centres, with the exception of Enyimba versus Rangers, which will be announced in due course,” NPFL COO Salihu Abubakar said in a statement.

“This is for your information and compliance as we continue to maintain all COVID-19 protocols.”
