No amount of threats, killings in Igboland will stop Biafra – MASSOB tells IGP

The leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) at the weekend said that no amount of threats by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, will stop Biafra from flourishing.

The group made this known in a statement signed by the National Director of Information, MASSOB, Comrade Edeson Samuel said

MASSOB however urged the governors of the south east zone to resist any act that would set Igboland on fire.

The statement reads in part: ” The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) advised the South East governors over their confidence that the Fulani led federal government of Nigeria intended to set Igbo land on fire.

“The operation restore peace been launched by IGP Usman Alkali in Enugu recently was not to restore peace as codenamed but to escalate the vision and commandments of their great grandfather, Usman Dan Fodio and President Muhamadu Buhari, the current Fulani leader who is also the worst enemy of Ndigbo.

“MASSOB has remained nonviolent and must not be pushed to the wall. The IGP should have known that no amount of his threats, killings, and destruction of our environment will ever stop the spirit of Biafra from flourishing.

“The latest executive order by both the police and Army chiefs to shoot at sighting nonviolence pro Biafra agitators or gathering of Igbo youts is another systematic move by the Fulanis to wipe Ndigbo out from our native land. The IGP and Major General Mohammedu Buhari with their Fulani cabals controlling the Nigeria government cannot stop agitation for Biafra republic.

“The more they applied their primitive and insensitive tactics to stop the people of Biafra, the higher we grow with international sympathy and diplomatic recognition.

“The Chief of Army staff, Inspector General of Police and other Security Chiefs could not restore peace in Bornu, Niger, Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna states and the entire North East only to rush down to Biafra land to carry out ethnic cleansing.

“The people of Biafra can never be intimidated by their weapons, lies and deception”.
