NNPC Raises Petrol Price to N915 in Lagos, N945 in Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has raised the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to N915 per litre in Lagos and N945 per litre in Abuja. This marks an increase of N45 and N35 respectively from the previous prices of N870 in Lagos and N910 in Abuja.

Other marketers have also adjusted their prices upward. For instance, MRS filling stations in Lagos, which are supplied by the Dangote refinery, have increased their pump price from N875 to N925 per litre.

This development comes after the Dangote refinery recently raised the ex-depot price of petrol to N880 per litre. The refinery also unveiled a nationwide fuel distribution plan on June 15, which includes the deployment of 4,000 CNG-powered tankers to improve the supply of petrol and diesel across the country.
