Nigerian man dies in the UK five months after bagging a degree

A Nigerian student, Edidion Effiong Okokon has d!ed after a long battle with a lung disease.

 

 

 

According to information put out by the Nigerian community in the UK, Okokon was an international student at Teesside University.Nigerian fashion brands

 

 

 

 

He arrived in the UK in January 2023, full of dreams and excitement to start his studies.

 

 

 

 

However, few months later, his health took a difficult turn as he was diagnosed with a lung disease. He battled with the disease until he passed away peacefully on October 17.

 

 

 

He bagged his degree in May 2025, but will not live to utilize it.

 

 

 

Efforts are being made by his friends to raise money so his remains can be brought to Nigeria for burial.Nigerian fashion brands
