Nigerian Army Denies Fake Recruitment Advertisement

The Nigerian Army has debunked reports circulating on social media about an alleged recruitment exercise into the 90 Regular Intake.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Captain A.U. Hammanga, Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Directorate of Recruitment, described the reports and accompanying advertisements as false, misleading, and should be disregarded in their entirety.

He cautioned applicants seeking enlistment into the Army to ignore the fake vacancy announcements and await official communication, stressing that the Nigerian Army maintains a “clean and clear” website for all authentic information.

The statement further warned fraudsters attempting to deceive unsuspecting applicants to desist or face the consequences of their actions.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and professionalism, the Nigerian Army urged the public not to fall victim to fraudulent recruitment schemes and assured that only official channels will be used to announce genuine recruitment exercises.
