NDLEA arrests 75-year-old grandpa for drug trafficking in Ebonyi

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 75-year-old suspected drug dealer, Okebe Samuel in Ebonyi as part of ongoing nationwide operations against illicit drug trafficking.

 

 

 

The Director of Media and Advocacy, NDLEA Headquarters, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday, June 7, 2026 in Abuja.

 

 

 

Babafemi said operatives of the agency arrested the septuagenarian at Okposi community.

 

 

 

According to him, Samuel was found in possession of 300 grammes of skunk, a strain of cannabis, allegedly packaged in retail sachets for distribution to youths in the area.
