Unizik students and locals who live around Nnamdi Azikiwe university, Awka, Anambra State, administered m0b justice on a suspected armed robber allegedly caught trying to steal from a student’s lodge.

The suspect was allegedly caught with a gun at about 11pm on Friday, June 6, and students took laws into their hands.

The man was said to have attempted to gain access into a student’s lodge at Teezers Junction, near Unizik school gate, Ifite Awka.

A video shared online shows a crowd beating the man, one person is seen holding a cutlass.

Students who filmed the incident can be heard begging on behalf of the thief.

“It’s enough,” one voice begged while urging her lodge mates to lock the gate to prevent the mob from entering their lodge.
