Military rescues wife of Plateau’s Deputy Chief of Staff from kidnappers

Mrs Thabitha Silas, wife of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Deputy Governor’s Office Plateau State has been rescued by the military after being abducted. 

Mrs Thabith was rescued along with Dr Audu Samuel, the Medical Director Allah Na Kowa Clinic and Maternity Barkin Ladi.

While  Mrs Silas was kidnapped on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at her residence in Little Rayfield Jos, Plateau State, Dr Audu was kidnapped on Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence in Barikin Ladi by the same kidnap gang.

Military Information Officer, Major Ishaku Takwa confirmed that the kidnap victims have been rescued and reunited with their families.
