Nollywood actress Mary Remmy Njoku has shared a thought-provoking message on faith, forgiveness and the dangers of harboring bitterness toward others.
In a post on Instagram, the actress cautioned against using religion as a justification for hatred or wishing misfortune on others, stressing that attending church and knowing scripture do not excuse a lack of love and compassion.
According to her, God judges the intentions of the heart and values genuine kindness above personal grudges and resentment.
Njoku emphasized that while bitterness may cloud a person’s judgment, it cannot deceive God, who sees beyond outward appearances and understands every motive.
“Bitterness may blind the heart, but it cannot blind God,” she wrote.
The actress encouraged people to embrace forgiveness, love and sincerity in their faith, reminding believers that malicious prayers and ill wishes against others ultimately contradict the values they profess.
