Legendary martial artist and actor Chuck Norris, widely known for bringing karate and action films into mainstream American culture, has passed away at the age of 86.
Norris reportedly died in Hawaii after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency. He had been hospitalised in Kauai, though details surrounding the incident were not immediately made public.
According to reports, the veteran actor was rushed to the hospital following the emergency. Just days before his passing, he marked his 86th birthday with a lighthearted post on Instagram, writing, “I don’t age. I level up. I’m 86 today.”
His family confirmed the news in an emotional statement shared online, revealing that he died peacefully while surrounded by loved ones.
They described him not only as a global icon of strength and discipline but also as a devoted husband, caring father, grandfather, and a central figure in their family. The statement highlighted his life of faith, purpose, and dedication, noting that his legacy continues to inspire millions around the world.
