The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has hailed the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, for creating understanding and enhancing the image of the country.

This is as he joined family and friends to felicitate with the minister on his 70th birthday.

Buhari’s felicitation is contained in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, titled ‘President Buhari hails Lai Mohammed at 70’.

According to Adesina, “The President congratulates the minister on the milestone, heralded by many years of diligent service to the country, working as a lawyer and businessman, before getting into politics where he served as Chief of Staff in Lagos State, and National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress.

“As a party stalwart, President Buhari notes the sacrifices and contributions of the minister in raising formidable information machinery that went a long way in bringing change in the country.
