Katsina State Security Forces Rescue Abducted Mother and Child from Bandits

 

Troops of Operation Fasan Yamma, OPFY, in collaboration with the Katsina State Civilian Watch Committee, KSCWC, and local vigilantes, have repelled bandits’ attack in Matazu Local Government Area of the State and rescued an abducted mother and her child.

UGAMATV gathered that the gunmen invaded Ringin Gora Village around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and kidnapped a 22-year-old Saratu Abdullahi and her child.

Acting on credible intelligence, the troops immediately launched operation fire for fire against the bandits which forced them to flee, leaving the abducted woman and her child.

UGAMATV gathered that the mother and child were rescued unhurt, while the fleeing bandits vanished into the nearby forest.
