Kano Emir Aminu Ado Bayero Urges Collective Prayers to Tackle Insecurity

The Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, has urged Nigerians to come together in prayer as a way to address insecurity and promote peace across the country.

This message was contained in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa.

According to the statement, the Emir made the appeal during a special prayer gathering held at his palace in Nassarawa, Kano. The event drew hundreds of members of the Qadiriyya who assembled to pray for the nation.

While speaking at the session, the monarch highlighted the need for divine intervention in dealing with Nigeria’s current challenges. He said the gathering was organised to pray for lasting peace, national unity, and sustainable economic growth in Nigeria.

He emphasized that Nigerians should continue to seek God’s help while working towards resolving the country’s problems.

The Emir also pointed out that insecurity remains a serious issue and encouraged citizens to remain committed to prayers while supporting initiatives aimed at restoring stability.

During the prayers, he said supplications were also offered for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking God to grant him wisdom and strength to address both economic and security challenges facing the country.

In addition, the Emir praised the Governor of Kano, Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his efforts toward fostering unity among residents of the state.

Earlier at the event, the leader of the Qadiriyya group, Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, explained that the prayer session was organised shortly after the Ramadan period to seek God’s guidance and blessings for the country, as well as peace, stability, and economic progress.
