The Palace of the traditional ruler Ifitedunu in Dunukofia local government in Anambra state, Igwe Dr. Emeka Ilouno has been Torched by unknown gunmen

The incident it was gathered, happened in the early hours of Monday, 26th April, 2021.

“My Palace has just been burnt down by arsonists. Please pray for me. Eze Dunu” the traditional ruler wrote on his Facebook page.

The level of damage done by the arsonists on the Palace is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing in this report, but vehicle parked in the compound was destroyed and a part of the building destroyed

This is the latest in the series of attacks in the Southeastern part of Nigeria.

Recall that gunmen had on Saturday attacked the country home of the Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma, razed vehicles and killed security personnel.
