Just In: APC’s New Chairman Declares Opposition Parties Irrelevant in Nigeria

The new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, has said that there are no opposition parties in the country.

Yilwatda stated this to downplay the relevance of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Labour Party, LP, and the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

The new APC National Chairman made this statement on Thursday when he appeared as a guest on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television, shortly after his emergence.

According to the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, the APC has no fears about the opposition parties.

“There is no opposition for now,” he said.

He stated further that the opposition parties have all failed in recent off-season governorship polls following the 2023 general elections in Edo, Ondo, Kogi, and Imo states.
