The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering people-oriented governance, stressing that efforts would continue across critical sectors aimed at improving the welfare of residents, enhancing infrastructure, creating opportunities, and promoting sustainable development throughout the local government area.

Hon. Okolo also used the opportunity to commend the visionary leadership of the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, describing his administration as a shining example of purposeful governance and democracy in action.

The Awgu Council boss further praised the enabling environment created by the state government, which he said has empowered local government chairmen to effectively complement the governor’s developmental strides at the grassroots level.

Reaffirming the unwavering support of the people of Awgu for the governor, Hon. Okolo assured that the people would continue to stand firmly behind Governor Mbah’s administration and its developmental vision for Enugu State.

“As we enter the month of June, I urge all residents of Awgu to remain committed to one another, uphold the values of peace, unity, and mutual respect, and continue to work together for the advancement of our communities,” he stated.
