The VC warned the students that MOUAU “is not a society of rascals or hub for acts of prostitution”, and called for “decent, modest and reasonable” dressing.

He advised the students to shun cultism as “anyone who allows himself/herself to be lured and initiated into cult groups shall be shown his way out of this University.”

According to him, the university has what it calls “core values which every staff and student should adopt on daily basis.”

Prof. Owe urged parents and guardians to assist the university in training their children and wards.
