I’ve no hand in Imo insecurity, says Okorocha

A former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, has denied the allegation levelled against him by the state government that he is sponsoring insecurity in the state.

A statement issued on Saturday by Okorocha’s media aide, Sam Onwuemeodo, dismissed the allegation.

The statement described Okorocha as a man of peace who governed the state with upmost level of decorum for the eight years he held sway in the state.

The statement read in part, “Okorocha loves peace and also pursues peace with vigour.

“We would rather urge the Imo governor to see every Imo man and woman as a stakeholder in the Imo project and carry everybody along to see how best, to bring out the long known peaceful state from the current quagmire.

“This is not what Imo is known for. All hands must be on deck to get the problem solved. It does not require muscle-flexing or push me, I push you.
