Italian club Inter Women have completed the signing of Super Falcons midfielder Toni Payne from English Women’s Super League side Everton.
The 31-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Nerazzurri, keeping her at the club until June 30, 2028.
Payne began her professional career with Dutch club Ajax before joining Spanish side Sevilla in 2018, where she spent six years. She moved to Everton two years ago before making the switch to Inter Women.
The versatile midfielder was part of the Super Falcons squad that won a record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco in 2024.
She was also included in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 WAFCON finals, announced by head coach Justine Madugu on Friday.
