The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), is currently meeting with the service chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Also present at the meeting is the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had on Tuesday stated that the meeting will bring the President up to speed on developments in Nigeria’s war against insurgents.

The meeting is also expected to highlight the gains made by the military in the past few weeks that have seen insurgents and bandits surrendering in droves.
