After weeks of controversies, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded the names of members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) National Working Committee (NWC).

 

The updated list, published on INEC’s platform on Wednesday afternoon, confirms Senator David Mark as the party’s National Chairman and former Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, as the National Secretary.

 

INEC had earlier explained that the delay in processing the ADC list was due to the party’s failure to provide certain requirements, including specimen signatures. However, the ADC later confirmed that all outstanding documentation had been submitted.

 

With this latest recognition, the earlier setback that stalled the opposition coalition’s internal restructuring appears resolved, paving the way for the party’s leadership to fully assume its roles.
