INEC Shuffles Leadership: Osun Electoral Commissioner Moves to Ondo

 

 

 

Dr Mutiu Agboke, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, for Osun State has been transferred.

 

Dr Agboke disclosed this on Wednesday in a post, saying he has been transferred to Ondo State.

 

The post reads, “Good evening all.

 

“I have been transferred to Ondo State. I thank you most sincerely for the support given to me throughout my stay here in Osun state.

 

“May God Almighty support you all as well.”

 

 

Before his transfer, Dr Agboke had recently embarked on stakeholders meetings across the 30 local government council areas in Osun State as part of sensitisation for the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
