in Unity We Find Strength, In Peace We Build Tomorrow” — Awgu Council Chairman Hon. Uche Okolo Sends Powerful New Month Message of Faith and Hope to His People

In a heartfelt and spirit-lifting message to mark the beginning of a new month, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uche Joseph Okolo, has extended warm greetings, blessings, and deep appreciation to the resilient and peace-loving people of Awgu LGA.

Speaking through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, the Chairman described the month of July as “a divine portal of renewed hope, restored peace, and unshakable unity”—calling on all communities in Awgu to embrace love, forgiveness, and collective development in the face of every challenge.

“We step into July not just as a calendar transition, but as a spiritual awakening—a reminder that as a people, we are stronger together,” Hon. Okolo stated.

He went further to encourage families, traditional institutions, youth groups, and faith-based organizations across the LGA to continue upholding the values of unity and peaceful coexistence, especially at a time when communities are surrounded by social and economic uncertainties.

“Let our strength be found in our unity, our hope in our heritage, and our progress in our peace,” he added. “As your servant-leader, I remain committed to delivering inclusive governance that uplifts the soul of every village, every ward, and every individual in Awgu.”

The message also offered prayers for divine protection, wisdom, and prosperity upon every household and stakeholder working to advance the common good of the local government.

Hon. Okolo reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering dedication to infrastructure renewal, human capital development, education, youth empowerment, and rural transformation.

“As we march forward together, may July bring us closer to the promise of a new Awgu—a home of peace, purpose, and progress.”
