Immigration announces recruitment

The Nigerian Immigration Service, on Monday, announced the commencement of its recruitment exercise.

A statement signed by Aisha Ahmed Rufai, the Director/Secretary of the CDCFIB said the Civil Defense, Correctional Fire, and Immigration Services Board, CDCFIB, had approved the NIS 2019/2020 recruitment exercise.

Rufai said out of 45,323 persons who sat for the Computer Based Test, 6,105 persons have been shortlisted to attend the final screening of credentials and physical fitness.

The Service advised applicants to check the official website of the NIS for their names and screening details: exam location and guidelines for the recruitment exercise adding that shortlisted candidates will be invited for the screening via text and emails on Monday, May 10, 2021.

It said the screening will commence on May 24, 2021, and applicants are to print out their invitation slips which will be used to admit them into the screening venue.

It also advised applicants to contact its website for complaints.

Rufai stressed that applicants whose names do not appear on the website should not visit the venues of the screening exercise and that the screening is free.
